Quiet. Silent. Introvert. These may be the words that best describe you.
You do not like talking that much. You want to stay silent even for three, five, or six hours. You are not fond of getting along with too many people. You prefer to be on your own or just have a single companion. You are not a fan of socializing. You are a great admirer of solitude.
It’s positive- you are one of the world’s shy and quiet people.
Shy and quiet people tend to be aloof. But of course, they are just being themselves. Even the world understands them. That’s why if you are introvert and you are searching for your place in the corporate world, you are assured that there’s a job for you. In fact, there are various jobs available which are ideal for people who have introverted qualities and these include graphic designer, massage therapist, and computer programmer.
Career #1:Graphic Designer
If you are the creative and shy type of person, graphic designing can be your best choice.
A graphic designer usually works from home or on a freelance basis.
This means that you can just work alone, without having the need to talk with other people. You can freely extract your creative juices without being disturbed.
Career #2: Massage Therapist
This profession suits the calm and quiet people. Usually, a spa or a massage clinic has a relaxing and comfortable atmosphere and this jives with the personality of an introvert.
Though this job will require the therapist to talk with their clients to know about their body condition, it is still ideal for a shy person as the conversation is usually done in a calm environment. Also, it is just a one-on-one conversation- something that is manageable for a person who fear talking in front of many people.
Career #3: Computer Programmer
If you are the technical type of person and you are better at it than the art of communication, computer programming may be the best job for you.
As a computer programmer, you are more focused on handling things, gadgets, and devices. You’ll only have to talk with others when you have questions or inquiries. So, basically, it is you on your own and your office computer.
This only means that the world is for both extroverts and introverts. If you are shy and quiet, it does not automatically mean that you can’t have a job. Always remember, with millions of jobs out there, there’s always one for you.
